GEORGE NARTEH OWODO
CHAIRMAN

Mr. George Owodo, is a business minded Charted and Highly experienced accountant with extensive Knowledge and skills in both financial and investment Management. He has a high appreciation of risk assessment, evaluation, and diversification to achieve optimal returns in the phase of dynamic economic conditions. An achiever in both start-ups and well established multinational institutions, His dynamism and focus as a leader, has lead to his enviable records in team development and target attainment.

Mr. Owodo, is currently the finance Director of Eaton Towers Ghana Ltd. Prior to this, he held the position of Chief Finance Officer (CFO) with Stanbic Investment Management Services Ltd (SIMS) for 4years and was Senior Manager for Budgeting, Management and regulatory reporting for 6years with Standbic Bank Ghana Ltd. He has also served as a finance officer with Stanbic Bank Ghana Ltd and Management accounts officer with Ghana Airways Ltd.

Mr. Owodo, is currently a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICA) Ghana and a Student of Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIT) Ghana. He Holds an MBA, (Finance Option) and a BSc. (Accounting option) from University of Ghana Business School, Legon. He is currently a PhD. Student with SMC University, Switzerland.

CHARLES GRAHAM-MENSAH
BOARD SECRETARY

Mr. Graham-Mensah, is a well experienced professional in the area of insurance and risk management. He has over 12years of experience in insurance and his achievements over the years have contributed immensely to the performance of firms with which he has worked.

He is currently the Deputy General Manager (DGM) in charge of Marketing at Glico General Insurance Co. Ltd, a subsidiary of GLICO GROUP LIMITED (GLICO). He holds a degree in Psychology from the University Of Ghana, a Certificate in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute, UK, an Advanced Diploma in Insurance from Malta International Training centre, as well as a Certificate from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), UK. Prior to joining GLICO he held various management positions at Vanguard Assurance Co. Ltd.

CORNELIUS GANYAGLO
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

He has strong numerical and analytical skills in finance, business data analysis, corporate finance and information systems. He has the ability to research into new investment opportunities. He also has an excellent communication and interpersonal skills. He is a graduate of University of Bedfordshire Business School UK, where he obtained a Master of Science in Finance and Business Management. Mr. Ganyaglo also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Banking and Finance option from University of Ghana Business School. Mr. Ganyaglo has also taken Securities Courses at the Ghana Stock Exchange in modules which include Corporate Finance, Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management, Investment Advisory Techniques and Securities Trading, and has successfully passed all relevant exams. Prior to joining TLC microfinance, he worked as an investment manager with Man Capital Microfinance Ltd. He also has 5years experience in charge of Operations at ASDA Stores Ltd, UK. He has in addition worked as a marketing executive and an Accounts Officer with Expandable Polystyrene Products Ltd.

YAW APPIAH LARTEY
MEMBER

Mr. Lartey is a graduate Cambridge University, UK where he obtained an M.Phil. Real Estate Finance. He also holds a BSc. Administration (Banking and Finance Option) from University of Ghana Business School. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK and also Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG). Mr. Lartey, has over 5 years’ experience with a “top four” Audit firm across the West African region in wide range of sectors including energy, financial services, telecommunications, manufacturing and infrastructure. He has particular experience in providing advisory services, including performing financial and business analysis, advising on the buy and sell side for private sector participation opportunities, valuations, financial modeling as well as managing and performing assignments to tight timetables for a wide range of public and private sector clients, including experience of a broad range of infrastructure. He is responsible for the management of the model used for generating the financial information used for Price Water House Cooper’s [PwC] annual thought leadership publication – The Ghana Banking Survey. This responsibility includes compiling and updating the spread sheets and formulas to include providing advice to the Survey team on the reasonableness of the output ratios to inform the team’s input integrity checks. Prior to joining Price Water House Cooper’s [PwC] he worked as a Senior Associate, with Ernst & Young. He has also worked as a teaching and research assistant at University of Ghana Business School.

BARBARA AFEAFA WUTTOR-ASEM
MEMBER

Mrs Wuttor-Asem has excellent leadership, team work and communication skills which are evidenced in her achievements. She is well vest in legal issues rating to Banking and Finance and does not only represent and conduct cases in court, but also involved with issues relating to industrial disputes, liquidation, recovery cases and interpretation of Bank of Ghana directives.

A professional Lawyer from Ghana Law school, She holds a Qualifying Law Certificate and a Barister at Law (BL). Mrs Wuttor-Asem is also a graduate of University of Ghana, Legon, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Sociology and Political Science. She currently holds the position of Legal Officer with Société Générale - Social Security Bank (SG-SSB). She has prior to this, served as an Assistant State Attorney with the Ministry of Justice and Attorney Generals Department.

SAMEUL AMANKWAH
HEAD OF CREDIT

Mr. Amankwah Samuel is a result oriented, business focused and performance driven professional with over seven (7) years working experience in banking operations, credit risk management, project management, product development and has acquired in-depth experience and knowledge in portfolio management, lending projection and forecasting. He holds a degree in Business Administration (Banking and Finance) from Central University. Prior to joining True Life Capital Microfinance Ltd as Head of Credit, he was the branch manager of Options Microfinance Ltd at their Corporate Branch at Kaneshie. He also worked as a credit officer, credit risk analyst and credit manager of same institution. Mr. Samuel Amankwah has also had working experiences with Wamfie Rural Banks Ltd as accounts officer and head of Finance at Wyba Company Ltd. Mr. Amankwah has mentored or thought a lot of professional in the Microfinance sector. He is also an expertise in credit department restructuring. He is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Development Management (Monitoring & Evaluation) from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA)

EUNICE RENEE KOTEY
ADMIN AND HR MANAGER

A young lady with great interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive and mutual relationships. She has the ability to work on own initiative; willingness to pick up and develop new skills and very energetic. With strong planning, organizing and monitoring abilities, she is able to make positive contributions towards business improvement. Eunice Kotey, holds currently holds a Bsc. in Human Resource Management with computing at Regent University College of Science and Technology. She also holds an HND in Institutional Management from Kumasi Polytechnic.

She has also attended workshops in modules which include Microfinance Institutions (MFI) Risk Management, Eunice has prior to joining True Life Capital, Held the position of Credit/HR/and Administrative Manager with Joyprin Microfinance Ltd. Prior to this; she worked as an Administrative Manager with Man Capital Microfinance Ltd. She also held the Position of Acting Branch Manager with Trillion Finance Ltd in Kumasi.

PRECIOUS ELINAM AMEGAH
ACCOUNTS MANAGER

Mr. Amegah as Accounts manager has a good head for figures and dealing with complex modelling and analysis, as well as a sound grasp of financial systems and procedures. Prior to joining True Life Capital Microfinance Limited Precious was the Finance Manager at Krowe Money Lending Company Limited 3years six months where he oversaw budgets, Preparation of BOG reports and putting in structures for the smooth running of the company. He was the first in house accountant for which he put in place the accounting policies, software and good accounting procedures. He also worked with Detris Consult now CFY Partners for almost 2years as an Audit Assistant. He is also a freelance accountant where he provided services to companies like FT Cashier, Speedline Driving School, Suma Court Hotel amongst others. He is a graduate from the University of Cape Coast where he obtained a Bachelor of Management Studies Degree. He is also an ACCA Level 2 student. He has attended a lot of trainings with Money Lenders Association, GAMC, GRA and was part of the developing process of the BOG Prudential Reporting Template V5. He is skilled in accounting software such as Zigloi Micro Banking Software, Tally, Pastel, Sage Account 2010, Quick Books 2010- 2016.

OSEI TUTU NKETIAH-SARPONG
OPERATIONS MANAGER

He has made an incredible mark with his 6-7 years in the Marketing, Finance and Banking industries. He has over time developed supervisory and managerial skills and he is very tactful in his dealings with both individuals and corporate organizations. He knows what works, what has failed and what is yet to be tried and works.

He has a good computation and data analysis skills laced with a good customer handling and relationship management skills. A good communicator with a multiple task handling skills which yields excellent results. He’s very keen on ensuring the satisfaction of every customer and for this reason he works tirelessly to ensure that clients are more than satisfied.

Prior to joining True life capital, Osei Tutu Nketiah Sarpong was the Marketing manager of Glazico Ghana ltd, Fidelity Bank Ghana Ltd as a Team Leader of the Haatso branch sales team. He is a graduate from University of Ghana with Bachelors in Political Science and Sociology. He’s currently a student with the institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAG).

TRUE GROUP LOAN
The true group loan is designed to bring banking service to rural and semi-rural communities who are unbanked, underbanked, or lack a clear assess to financial support and assistance. Our group is mainly for women within these rural communities. The company undertakes community evaluation and help the group with a financial literacy program before a credit assessment.
TRUE SME LOAN
This is available as short term financing for traders, business & women and micro business enterprises. Collateral security may be required to assess SME loan.
TRUE BUSINESS LOAN
This product is designed for registered businesses that have special need for flexible loan facility to address their financial needs. This loan package serves as a working capital support for registered businesses over a fixed period of time. Collateral security is a requirement for assessing business loans.
TRUE PERSONAL LOAN
Quick loan for salaried worker on Controller & Accountant General Department payroll. Also considerations may be given to workers of reputable institutions like banks. Hospitals e.t.c. For such loans TLCML will demand the institution guarantee for such applicant.
TRUE MICRO LOAN
This is mainly for the unbanked and peasant entrepreneurs in society who wants to expand or improve their business or wares. The facility serves as a working capital augmentation for Susu savers and other informal traders. 15% cash collateral is required to assess this facility.
TRUE INSTITUTIONAL LOANS
Designed for registered churches, schools and allied institutions with a written constitution, movable and immovable properties and consistent cash flow. Available if prospecting institution meets all conditions.
SAVINGS/DEPOSIT PRODUCTS
TRUE SUSU ACCOUNT
This is a flexible account where individuals can save with a minimum of GHS 5.00. There are no restrictions on this account with respect to withdrawals. Clients have access to daily cash collection by field tellers. Again the product can qualify the account holder to a micro loan facility.
TRUE SAVE ACCOUNT
This is a savings account tailored to meet the everyday savings need of all persons with different income brackets. True Saver account is mainly aimed at encouraging savings culture amongst persons within our catchment areas. The minimum balance requirement is GHS 10.00.
TRUE SUSU
This operates on the principle of the 31 – day cycle of contribution. It helps raise funds towards monthly financial obligations. It can be used in building up sums for investment with the True Life Investment Department
